On 17th December, I took four of your classmates to Wan Chai for the Speech Festival. They all performed well in the competition. Out of my expectation, Janice had an outstanding performance and she won the 2nd runner-up. I was thrilled and overjoyed. It's happier than I get the prize by myself.
It's GREAT to see my students to get a prize. I'd like to be a teacher because I'd like to have a sense of satisfaction.
This year, I train 13 students in Speech Festival. Actually, all English teachers are asked to train 3 students only and they all selected BRIGHT students. But for me, I'd like my students to try and build up their self confidence. So I let you choose to join the competition. Some of you are really bright, but some of you are not. Anyway, I don't care the result. I just want you to enjoy the process, appreciate the beauty of English and try to speak up in front of a large audience. It's nice to see ALL of you did it and you did it well! Even you didn't get any prizes but if you enjoy the training process, that's fantastic! I really proud to have YOU all as my students!

Janice, you are welcome. I was surprised when I heard the announcement. The adjudicator was quite strict and that's why I didn't expect anyone of you will have a prize.
