Hey boys and girls, actually, I think it's not very difficult to organise a farewell party for you. However, it turned out to have so many problems.......I planned to have a party with you because I want to have a good memory and a GREAT time together. However, I am the FIRST teacher in this school who would like to organise such a party and you are the FIRST class which will have the party. It's something new to the school. That's why the school has a lot of concern. I can understand that and I try not to be so outstanding and not telling other teachers and students about it. I don't want to create any troubles for the school.
Well, in these few days, we spent so much time in the lesson to discuss this matter. Let's discuss it on the blog so that everyone can say something and save our time in the lesson.
Now, I would like to make up the date, time, place, food, drink, games and etc. Let's leave your comment and share with all of us.
1. Date: 27th June, 2008 (Friday)
2. Time: 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m./5:30 p.m.
3. Place: School (may not be in the classroom)
4. Food: Do you want to rder food from the canteen? You can order what you want to eat, we can discuss it later.
5. Drink: You want me to prepare? Or you want to get your own water?
6. Games: Do you want to have games? Or just eating?
7. Which teachers would you like to invite to the party? Who would like to design the invitation cards?
8. Anything you want to do in the party?
I know you will have some opinion about no. 4. Let me talk about the food here. Actually, the food made by the food company for the teachers are quite delicious. I ate the food for several times. I can say that the quality of the food is not the same as what you have every day. If I use my name to order the food, they will respect me and try to make the food more tasty. So, I can say we can try to order the food from them this time. Some of you want to have the party on Sunday or Saturday. However, I have to gurantee your safety and so I can't ask you to come back to school. If you have any accidents, I will be very sorry and your parents will blame me. So some of you suggested to have buffet in a hotel, what I concern is not money, is your safety. I have to be responsible for your safety. But we are in the school together, I can make sure your safety and your parents will have the sense of security.
