Your revision test 2 upset me AGAIN!!!

I was so surprised and shocked to mark your revision test 2 last night. Your performance is pretty BAD and many of you made serious mistakes since you didn't study the vocabulary, didn't read the instructions, didn't check your paper, didn't write down the full stops and commas...... I couldn't realize those are YOUR papers!!!

Some of you said you didn't have enough time. What I want to say is if you study well and prepare well, once you see the questions, you can answer them quickly without thinking so much. The reason that you have to spend a lot of time to think is that you didn't study! Another thing I want to say is some of you finished the paper early but you didn' t check your paper. You like looking/staring at me or play with your stationery or use your left/right hand to write strange words to get my attention. Come on! It's not the time to play and show off. What I want you to do is to take your tests seriously! I spent hours to prepare the paper and you didn't spend one second to revise your books, what's the point of doing the tests? You are wasting your time and wasting my time. What you asked me to do, I did it (prepare the tests for you). What I asked you to do, you didn't do it (revise your books).

For your mistakes, they are all UNACCEPTABLE!!! I explained clearly how to get the correct answers and how to avoid making those mistakes. Still many of you used 'neither...nor' and 'not' at the same time. You forgot the // (parallel) structure of 'either...or...' and 'neither...nor...' You forgot to see the tense of the questions (past tense, present continuous tense, present perfect tense...) You forgot to notice the subject-verb agreement, when to use is/was/are/were. You always say I am very long-winded. If I say one time and you can remember, I won't repeat the second time. It seems to me that even I say 1000 times, you still forget what I told you! I really don't know what I can do to help you get good grades. You even forgot your promises after the F.A. 3.1 last time. YOU FORGOT EVERYTHING!!! I told myself not to scold you in the lesson today. I was really disappointed and upset with your performance this time. I was not getting angry with you. I just want to let you know how frustrated I am.

I hope you can understand what I mean. What I did, what I am doing now and what I will do are ALL for your benefits. I won't do any meaningless thing and I won't harm you anyway. I just want you to learn more and have a bright future.
