Hi everyone!!! I just came back from Egypt. I spent 9 days there and visited a lot of interesting places. I've been to Cairo(開羅), Aswan(亞斯旺), Luxor(樂蜀), Hurghada(洪加達), Red Dea (紅海), Doha (多哈)...... It's my first time to see the REAL pyramids, I just read the books and saw the pictures in the past. They are fantastic and fascinating!!! I rode camels for two times. The camels are really tall and huge. They kneelt down and let me ride on them. They are nice animals. I took pictures in many temples. I couldn't imagine how the people in the past built the GREAT temples. They are really amazing! Besides sightseeing, I also went snorkelling in Red Sea, the water there is PURELY BLUE and GREEN!! You definitely can't see that colour of water in the sea in Hong Kong. I fed the fish and saw the colourful coral reef there! I also took the vehicle to the desert to enjoy the 'galaxy' there! When I looked up at the sky, I could easily see thousands of stars above my head. It was just like a dream. Actually, we have the same sky everywhere. However, city people always switch on the lights and that's why we can't see the stars in Hong Kong. I had so many 'FIRST TIME's in Egypt. We had 'sea, land, sky' activities!!! I had a boat trip for three days and enjoyed the sunshine on the deck (I took the boat from Aswan to Luxor). I took the car and went to the desert (the edge of Sahara Desert) to visit the people there and gazed at the stars there. I took the hot balloon and watched the sunrise! I couldn't simply use words to tell you what I did in Egypt and what I feel now. Let me show you some of the pictures that I took there. Enjoy the time with me!!!
I tried to smoke (水煙).

we finally climbed to the top of the desert!

I am getting ready to ride the camel in the desert!

It's the first pyramid in the world. Actually, it's a staircase pyramid!

it's my first time to snorkel! I got the bread to feed the fish!

Look! We are so happy to swim in the Paradise Island!

Let's ride camels beside the pyramids together!

It's the Sphinx (獅身人面像)!

There are more than 100,000 historical displays in the Cairo Museum!

Look at the pictures on the stone!

How can the people build the temples with the big big stones?

It's the hot balloon that I took to see the sunrise!

See! I am eating another hot balloon!!!

After taking the hot ballon trip, I am very exhausted (I woke up at 3:45 a.m.)

Can you see the giant statues? They are all made by stones!

How hot is in Egypt? About 40-50 degree Celsius everyday! I am sweating!

We are taking the horse ride to the temple!

It's the Eagle God. I am pretending to be the Eagle God. Haha!

There are many sheep-lion statue (獅身羊面像) in this temple! I am one of them, haha!!!

look at the ancient Egytian words. They are very interesting!

So many hot balloons are flying up to the sky at the same time!

I ride the camel again! How big is the camel!

The pyramid is bigger than what I imagined!

It's the Sphinx again (used to protect the pyramids)

I am taking the train to Aswan (12 hours journey)!

Bye Bye Egypt! I hope I will come here again!!!

Dear Solomon,
Make sure you can tolerate the HEAT in Egypt. It's really hot in summer there. You may go there in winter. It will be cooler.
Dear Vanessa,
Camels are very gentle and nice animals. I am sure you will love them when you see them!
Dear Jessica,
I hope you will have the chance to go to Egypt later. Go and explore more about this country!
Dear Janice,
Egypt is very hot in summer, about 40 -50 degrees at daytime. However, it's not as humid as in HK. I hope you can go to Egypt later.
Best wishes,
Miss Chung Chung
