Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to Everyone!!!

It's the first holiday after the starting of this school year. I was so glad to have three consecutive days to take a rest at home. However, I don't think three days are enough for me. On Wednesday after school, I dated the other colleagues to talk about J.5 English stuff. I planned to have the meeting within half an hour. Out of my expectation, it lasts for one and a half hour. I was surprised when I saw some of you (6D students) were waiting for me outside the staff room. They came to visit me the day before and they came to visit me again! I was shocked and surprised! I quickly packed my things and left as my husband was waiting for me at the school door. Just then, I went to a karaoke box in TST with my husband and his friends. We left there after midnight. Then I took a taxi home and felt really exhausted. Luckily, I still could wake up in the next morning and be puntual to arrive school. I just felt my soul is not attached to my body anymore. I tried my very best to finish my work.... We have meetings after school every day. Although most of them are not related to me, I still need to sit there and attend those meetings. On Friday, the school ended at 12:45 p.m. as all teachers had a lunch gathering in the canteen. I just wanted to finish the food and went home right away. I returned home at 3 and directly went to bed and slept for 2 hours. I woke up and I started to watch all the TV shows that I missed in the previous days. GREAT!! I watched TV for 3 hours and I finally finished them! After that, I dressed up and went to dinner with my husband's aunts and uncles. Still, I don't think I have enough sleep. We returned home at 11 and I took a shower and went to bed. On Saturday, I woke up at 9 and did some school work, prepare for the dictation and F.A. and read some newspapers. In the afternoon, I went to KLT to attend a briefing session. (I will tell you what the briefing session is about later! I think it's not the right time to tell you all at this moment!) At night, we went to a Chinese restaurant and celebrated my husband's grandmother's birthday. I didn't enjoy it at all.

I can see some of you left comments to me and encourage me. Actually, I feel better now as I try to love them just like what I do for you in the previous two years. As I told you before, what I did for you is for you ONLY. I won't do it for other classes. So I tried to do something new and hope the students can learn English in a more relax and enjoyable way. I designed some games and activities for them, wrote big word posters every day, taught them phonics, tried not to punish students but give them stickers to praise them and encourage them. So far, I didn't really scold any students. I hope I don't have to scold anyone within this year! About the Speech Festival, I didn't select so many students this year as I don't know them well. I just chose 8 of them and train them starting from next week. I am not very upset now as I enjoy teaching these NEW students now! Don't worry about me! I am FINE!

Dear Miss Chung,

I want to tell you that I hate to play lanterns as I think that it is very stupid to walk around with the lanterns. But Mid- Autumn Festival is a great chance to gather with my famliy. I am glad to hear that you enjoy your teaching in the school. Let's work hard together!

Cheers,
Solomon

Dear Solomon,

I like Mid-Autumn Festival too. I like eating mooncakes and have dinner gathering with my families. I will try my best to teach my students. You have to learn well too!

Best wishes,
Miss Chung Chung

Dear Janice,

I try not to scold students starting from this year as I don't want to make them unhappy and I want them to know I just want them to be good. If I scolded you in the past, I hope you can forget it and don't be upset. KLT means Kowloon Tong !

Best wishes,
Miss Chung Chung
